Q: Wait! Can't I choose my custom leather sandal color?

A: Yes, you do get to choose your custom leather sandal color. However, due to variations in computer monitor resolutions, and the way color displays slightly differently on all monitors, we include actual color swatches in your "custom barefit kit" that we send to you. So, you will not need to decide on color until you receive your kit.

Q: If these are really custom fit custom leather sandals, why do you want my shoe size?

A: We need a general shoe size range in order to include the correct barefit mold in your custom barefit kit. So, you are only providing this information to receive the correct kit - and not actually for our use in creating your custom leather sandals.

Q: How long does it take to get my custom leather sandals?

A: This varies - and depends on a few factors. We ship you our exclusive custom "barefit" kit within 1-3 business days of you placing your order via UPS ground. Depending on where you live, UPS ground generally takes between 1 and 5 days.

Next, you will need to complete your custom barefit kit and ship it back to us. For your convenience, we include packaging and a return shipping label so that as soon as you are finished with the kit, you can easily ship it back to us. Again, this is shipped via UPS Ground shipping. So, if you ship your completed kit back to us the next day, we will generally receive your completed kit within 1-5 days - depending on the area of the country you are in.

Once we receive your completed custom barefit kit, we immediately begin working on your custom leather sandals. This process takes between 2 and 3 weeks - depending on the moisture in the atmosphere at the time (there is a drying process that is dependent on atmospheric conditions during the production process...if there are high moisture levels in the atmosphere, the production process could take as long as 3 weeks.)

Once we finish creating, checking, and packaging your custom leather sandals, we will ship them to you via your chosen shipping method. You can choose any method that our selected carriers offer for this final shipping, and those options are available for you to select from during the checkout process.

Q: How long does it take to complete this "custom barefit kit" that you send me?

A: Our exclusive custom barefit kit has several components. In general, you can complete the kit in 30 minutes of your time or less. One component in our exclusive custom barefit kit does require some drying time before it's ready to be packaged again. This is our custom barefit mold. The mold takes approximately 3-5 minutes to set. After it has "set", it needs to dry approximately 30 minutes before it can be packaged to ship. Generally, if you have a little time right when you open your custom barefit kit, it takes between 45 minutes and one hour for your kit to be ready to sent back.

Q: I need my sandals really soon, can I speed up the process?

A: Ground shipping for your kit is included in the price of your sandals. If you need them sooner, please give us a call at our toll free number on the left, and we can assist you. Generally, if you need your custom leather sandals sooner, we can upgrade your kit shipping from UPS ground to an air method. However, you will need to pay the difference between the shipping methods. While we can speed up the process via upgrading shipping, we can not, however, speed up the production process because it is partially dependent on nature. We can give you an idea what the projected moisture levels are going to be when we receive your kit. But, as you know, weather forecasting is not an exact science, so, it will just be an estimate on potential production time and can not be guaranteed.
